Who looks after your information?

Asterisk Investments Ltd operates this sign-up list. Contact Ian Hughes at ian.hughes@asterisk.investments about your information or to stop receiving updates.

What we collect and why

We store your email address, your selected interest, the time you signed up and a record of the wording you agreed to. We use this to send the AmICovered news and launch updates you requested. The basis for these emails is your consent.

Each sign-up also sends an internal notification to Ian Hughes. We keep notification delivery records so we can retry a failed alert. We do not sell your email address or use this list to advertise insurers’ products.

Storage and service providers

The registration database is hosted on our Netcup server. Resend processes the email address and selected interest to deliver the internal notification. Its delivery services may process information outside the UK and EEA. See Resend’s privacy policy for information about its processing and safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep your registration while you want these updates. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in an update or by emailing us. We mark your registration as unsubscribed to prevent further updates. You can also request deletion.

Cookies and security

This holding page uses no advertising or analytics cookies. For abuse prevention, the sign-up service temporarily stores a keyed hash derived from your IP address; those rate-limit records are removed after 24 hours during subsequent sign-up processing. Our hosting services also process technical request information to operate and secure the site.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, by contacting us. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
